Simple de configuration, discret et performant. Le hic, c’est le temps de réflexion propre à l’automatisation. Et ça ce n’est pas le problème du hub, mais de mon cerveau ! Bref, un bon produit Aqara qui fonctionne très bien avec l’écosystème Apple Homekit. Très satisfait de cet achat.

« The Unified Hub My Smart Home Needed—PoE and Matter are Game Changers! »I’ve been waiting for a hub that finally ties everything together seamlessly, and the M200 is it. Coming from the older M2, the addition of Matter Controller and Thread Border Router functionality means my setup isn’t just Aqara-centric anymore; it truly unifies my whole smart home. Pairing Matter-enabled devices from other brands is now straightforward, and the Thread network is noticeably faster and more reliable than pure Zigbee for those devices.The PoE (Power over Ethernet) port is a massive win for reliability. I no longer have to worry about a flaky Wi-Fi connection or finding a dedicated outlet near the center of my house. I just plugged it into my network switch, and it’s rock solid. The IR Blaster is also smarter now—it actually detects when I use my old AC remote, keeping the smart home status perfectly in sync. If you’re a power user with a mixed ecosystem (Apple HomeKit, Home Assistant, etc.) and you value wired stability, this is the hub to get. A superb upgrade.

Bueno es un hub de acata que hace si trabajo muy bien solo espero que aqara actualice la app y el firmware del hub para que vaya aun mejor por que aun falta por arreglar algunas cosas pero funciona bien y el IR va muy bien para controlar dispositivos como el aire acondicionado o otros con mando a distancia!!contento con la compra

What stood out immediately was how many roles it combines into one device. It works as a Matter Controller, Thread Border Router, and Matter Bridge, all in a single compact hub. Setting it up with my existing Aqara sensors and adding Thread devices was smooth, and it recognized everything quickly. The ability to bridge Aqara features into Apple Home and Home Assistant without losing functionality has been a huge advantage.The IR blaster is another highlight. I have an older air conditioner that isn’t smart, and the M200 basically turned it into a smart thermostat. It even detects when I use the original remote and updates the status automatically, which is something most IR blasters can’t do. Pairing it with an Aqara temperature sensor made automation feel like a built-in feature.Connectivity options are flexible. I’m using PoE for power, which keeps things tidy and reliable, but it’s great that it also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and USB-C power. I tested it with a small power bank, and it stayed online during a short outage, nice peace of mind for automations and security alerts.The built-in speaker is more useful than I expected. I’ve set it up for door alerts, a simple alarm clock, and even a custom chime when a sensor triggers. Volume is decent for its size, and it responds fast thanks to local automation. Even with my internet offline, Zigbee and Matter automations continue to run almost instantly.Overall, the M200 has been extremely reliable, flexible, and powerful. If you want a hub that’s ready for the Matter ecosystem, supports tons of devices, and brings real automation speed and stability, this is a fantastic upgrade for any smart home setup.

Novità 2025, hub per smart home in grado di gestire lampadine, altoparlanti etc.. di brand diversi e perfettamente compatibile con Alexa, Google home, Samsung Smarthings, etc…Molto simile ad altri hub, mi viene in mente quello Philips Hue, dove una volta connessi alla rete domestica (anche in questo caso tramite una porta ethernet) riescono a gestire tutte i deversi smart device.La sua particolarità è che è dotato di un altoparlante integrato, pertanto può interagire e funzionare anche da sirena.Inoltre ha un sensore ad infrarossi e pertanto può dialogare anche con quei dispositivi che presentano soltanto il sensore IR come i condizionatori, a patto ovviamente che siano vicini o a « tiro » dell Hub in questione.Per il prezzo con il quale viene offerto, ci farei un pensierino, anche per la sua estrema compatibilità con la maggior parte dei dispositivi smart e non.

Easy to set up and use, the app allows you to fully control your smart home devices… It allows you to add your devices from a vast list of brands…I have numerous Zigbee devices, and the Hub gives me full control of them.

The Aqara Hub M200 is a compact smart home hub that combines Matter support, a Thread Border Router, a Zigbee hub, an IR blaster, and a built-in speaker. Setup with the Aqara Home app was simple, and all my Aqara devices connected without any issues. I also linked it to my Hue Hub with my Hue bulbs, as well as several Matter-over-Wi-Fi devices such as panel heaters and light bulbs. Everything works reliably, and both device control and automations update quickly.The option to power the hub via PoE is a big advantage, and I appreciate that Aqara is releasing more devices with PoE support. I also find myself using the Aqara Home app more and more, as it offers many features I really like.The IR function, especially the Air Conditioning Mode, was very easy to set up with my Daikin AC. The M200 is connected to Apple Home via Matter, and I can control the air conditioner directly from Apple Home without any issues — similar to using Sensibo or Tado. (Also paired the Aqara W100 sensor with air conditioning)Its limit of 40 Zigbee devices and 40 Thread devices means it’s best suited for smaller smart homes, or as I’m using it: for the devices in my living room. This works smoothly and makes it easier to manage everything from one place.

I am currently running a smart home with over 150 devices connected over a combination of Tuya WiFi, Zigbee, Matter and Thread. I mainly use Home Assistant to control the devices using Smart Life for the Tuya devices. I want to move away from the WiFi base as it is unstable from the number of devices (an EE WiFi Pro issue) and is also dependant on the Tuya cloud and internet, when I would rather have more local control. On top of the Home Assistant I use Google Home and Alexa for voice controlI set up this hub after downloading the Aqara app and set it up as a Thread border router. On realising that it will only support 40 devices, I decided not to migrate my services to it. Unfortunately it is now set up as my preferred Thread network and it appears the only way I can stop this is by deleting my key chains in Google Play Services which will mean deleting all the data in Google Play Services on multiple devices which will be a nightmare to re-establish.If you take aside the maximum limit of 40 devices this unit offers the support it offers to other devices and systems is large: Matter Controller, Thread Border Router, Featuring Aqara Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, PoE, IR, Supports Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Home Assistant, SmartThings, Google Home.

I had high expectations for the Aqara Hub M200 because on paper it supports Matter, Thread, Zigbee, and multiple platforms like Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home. From a hardware and build-quality perspective, the hub feels very solid and well made. Setup was smooth, and the hub was quickly detected on my network using Ethernet, which I appreciated.However, my experience became frustrating once I tried to use it with non-Aqara devices. I specifically tested Matter-enabled smart sockets that are advertised as compatible under the Matter standard. While the hub did recognize and successfully connect to these Matter sockets, the actual functionality was very limited. I was only able to use them in basic scenarios and automations, but I could not perform simple direct actions such as reliably scheduling on/off times without involving additional Aqara sensors or devices.This made the hub feel restrictive unless you are fully invested in the Aqara ecosystem. In my case, the Matter devices were recognized, but without Aqara-branded sensors, the usefulness was extremely reduced. Because of this, the hub didn’t deliver the level of control I expected from a Matter controller.Overall, the Aqara Hub M200 feels well-built and reliable, but in my experience it works best only if you plan to use mostly Aqara products. For mixed-brand smart homes, functionality may be more limited than expected.

El fabricante nos remite este controlador en un pack en el que incluye además del propio dispositivo un cable USB para la alimentación. No incluye instrucciones de uso.Una vez que lo tenemos en la mano, encontramos que es pequeño, está diseñado en materiales plásticos resistentes. En su parte frontal se encuentra un botón de encendido/apagado y que activa la función de emparejamiento junto con un led que nos a a indicar el estado del dispositivo.En la parte trasera, el dispositivo cuenta con un puerto USB-C para la alimentación, un puerto USB-A que por el momento se puede utilizar para alimentar dispositivos que requieran poco consumo y un puerto LAN ethernet RJ45 por el que podemos conectar el dispositivo a nuestra red doméstica por cable de red y además si contamos con un router, un switch o un inyector con tecnología PoE alimentar el dispositivo.Algo muy reseñable es que la base del controlador tiene goma que evita que se desplace de forma accidental e incluso cuenta con un adaptador que se puede utilizar para colocar el controlador en el techo.Para ponerlo en funcionamiento, necesitamos descargar la aplicación Aqara que nos va a guiar a la hora de activar el aparato, conectarlo a la red WiFi si no lo hemos hecho por cable y después servirá para activar opciones como el uso del aparato como Thread Border Router ya sea en modo autónomo o integrándose en la red que tengamos en casa -algunos dispositivos conocidos que también cuentan con esta tecnología son los Apple TV o Amazon Echo recientes- y a partir de aquí integrarse en nuestro sistema domótico.Permite su uso con dispositivos Matter, pudiendo controlarlos desde la aplicación o bien integrándose en sistemas como Home Assistant, aunque la funcionalidad de cada dispositivo depende del fabricante y la versión del protocolo Matter que incorpore. Funciones básicas como encendido o apagado de aparatos funcionan bien, otros como la medición de temperatura o humedad actualmente fallan.En cuanto a la función de hub Zigbee, está limitada a un máximo de 40 dispositivos, y solo funciona con dispositivos Aqara. En mis pruebas he probado distintos dispositivos de otros fabricantes, como por ejemplo Ikea, Sonoff o Philips Hue -botones, termohigrómetros, interruptores- y no los reconoce. Este es el punto que considero más negativo.Cuenta también con una función de mando a distancia para dispositivos que funcionen por infrarrojos -por ejemplo la mayoría de televisiones-. La aplicación ofrece una cantidad enorme de dispositivos de todos los fabricantes con los que podemos interactuar directamente y una opción, por si no encontramos el que queramos controlar, en la que el controlador aprende códigos. Esta función la he utilizado con mi televisión (LG), y me ha gustado sobre todo que tiene un gran alcance.Pros:- Diseño pequeño y cómodo.- Conexión mediante WiFi o cable LAN.- Alimentación mediante PoE o cable USB.- Actúa como Thread Border Router y hub Matter, integrándose perfectamente en sistemas como Home Assistant o Alexa.- Incorpora un altavoz con el que podemos personalizar hasta cinco archivos de sonido. Estos archivos se reproducen en momentos que programemos en las automatizaciones.Contras:- La función de Zigbee está limitada a dispositivos del fabricante.- La aplicación y el controlador a veces pierden la conexión entre sí, además, el manejo en la aplicación resulta algo lento, y si se programa una automatización no siempre funciona.Teniendo en cuenta su precio y calidad de los materiales empleados, así como el funcionamiento, creo que es un aparato que tiene bastante futuro y puede ser muy útil, pero el firmware actual necesita mejorar.
